Environmental Policy

The objective of the company policy, in unison with its Health and Safety management system, is to comply with all duties bestowed on Hybrid Global Solutions in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

Hybrid Global Solutions is committed to achieving environmental best practice throughout its business activities wherever practicable. Hybrid Global Solutions recognises that economic growth, development and a healthy environment must be closely linked.

Environmental protection and sustainable development are responsibilities that government, business, communities and individuals should strive towards. Where possible environmental management issues will be integrated with Health and Safety and other operational systems in line with overall business objectives of Hybrid Global Solutions.

Hybrid Global Solutions is committed to:

Minimising the use of energy, water and other natural resources in operations.
Minimising waste and identify the best environmental option for disposal.
Considering the effects our activities may have on the environment and minimize the environmental impact of aspects of work activities that are environmentally significant.
Preventing Pollution o Considering opportunities to make a positive contribution to the environment in all activities o Reducing the impact of our activities on adjacent businesses and residents and behave as a ‘good neighbour’.
Encourage active participation from company staff at all levels in improving environmental performance. o Minimizing the environmental impact, for the life cycle (including disposal), of plant, equipment, and all physical assets under the control of the supplier. o Minimise noise nuisance, especially on site where the public or residents may be affected (including night work).
Setting and monitoring environmental objectives o Continually improving its environmental performance. The principles detailed above apply to all Hybrid Global Solutions business activities. Hybrid Global Solutions will comply with its client’s environmental requirements, and work closely to ensure its impacts are as small as reasonably practicable.

Our Policy

Environmental protection is a management responsibility, as well as the responsibility of every employee of Hybrid Global Solutions. This policy concerning environmental protection addresses aspects of Hybrid Global Solutions’ operations which can potentially impact the environment. Our environmental pledge means that we will:

Comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations
Establish long-term environmental goals and champion local and company-wide green initiatives
Reduce our carbon footprint by: - Reducing our consumption of natural resources - Reusing in-house materials - Redirecting recyclable waste products for reclamation management -Purchasing recycled and environmentally friendly materials
Establish ourselves as environmentally responsible neighbours in the communities where we operate
Motivate employees to assume personal accountability for protecting the environment

Hybrid Global Solutions shall seek to:

Conduct its operations in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards concerning environmental protection, and provide a mechanism for self-monitoring through its integrated reporting system.
Establish corporate environmental objectives and targets relevant to the environmental impacts of its activities and a means to measure progress against these objectives. These objectives and targets shall be reviewed and revised as necessary.
Continually improve environmental management policies, programs and performance based on the results of our periodic reviews and taking into account regulatory developments, customer needs, technical developments, scientific understanding and community expectations.
Minimize the environmental risks to our employees and the communities in which we operate.
Promote employee awareness of environmental concerns, actions and responsibilities.
Promote the adoption of environmental protection goals and practices by suppliers acting on behalf of Hybrid Global Solutions, strongly encouraging improvements in our suppliers' practices to make them consistent with those of Hybrid Global Solutions.
Do what we can to limit our ecological footprint, by conserving energy, using sustainable energy sources, reducing water and paper usage, while re-using or recycling and limiting our business travel wherever possible.
